VIVE – The Danish Centre of Applied Social Science

VIVE – The Danish Centre of Applied Social Science was established on 1 July 2017 following a merger between SFI – The Danish National Centre for Social Research and KORA, the Danish Institute for Local and Regional Government Research .

VIVE is an independent analyses and research centre working within all major welfare fields.

VIVE has around 200 employees specialising primarily in economics, sociology, political science, anthropology and psychology.

One of our strengths is the ability to work across sectors and methodologies. Our specialist staff are used to working across disciplines, and this capacity is applied actively to include many different perspectives in an issue.

If you would like to find out more about VIVE, read more on the old KORA or SFI websites, both of which will be operating until a combined website for VIVE has been set up.
